About The Body Jewelry Box
Innovation
Our Body Jewelry Boxes are the first of their kind. Originally invented to hold a friend's jewelry collection, they have now been fine-tuned and tested to fill a unique problem in the piercing community. Our boxes are currently the only wooden boxes available that don't only hold your jewelry- they display it.
How does The Body Jewelry Box work?
Our boxes are not just a container with an open space to put little bags of jewelry in. Instead, they display the jewelry, making it easy to see all of your pieces at once. Our boxes are usually fit with rows of clips drilled into the top, for holding barbells, curves, or circulars. We then either use a tray or solid block (depending on the style), fit with threadless holes or threaded posts, to display and hold your threadless and threaded ends. When you open one of our boxes, all of your jewelry will be neatly and beautifully displayed in front of you.

Each of our Body Jewelry Boxes is handmade, using a variety of quality hardwoods that, when taken care of, will last decades. We put care and attention in every detail, to ensure you receive a product that looks great, feels great, and provides a long term solution to your jewelry storage.
Styles and Pricing
The Basic Box - $65+
Our Basic Boxes are fit with clips in the top to hold circulars, curves, or barbells. The solid block on the inside can be drilled for threadless ends, 16G threaded ends, or 14G threaded ends. Pricing starts at $65, to which we then add $2 per threadless hole, $2.50 per clip, or $3 per threaded post. Customization will also affect final price.
The Premium Box - $100+
Our Premium Body Jewelry Boxes are fit with clips in the top to hold circulars, curves, or barbells. We then add a removeable tray that can be drilled with threadless holes, or 16G or 14G threaded posts. The tray can be lifted out to reveal storage space underneath for plugs, rings, and other larger pieces. Pricing starts at $100, to which we then add $2 per threadless hole, $2.50 per clip, or $3 per threaded post. Customization will also affect final price.

Single Wood/Stain

Magnets
We can insert small magnets into your box to help secure it closed. One pair of magnets comes with no extra cost. Additional pairs are $5 per pair.
Sizing
Our boxes can be made in a variety of sizes, depending on your jewelry collection. The maximum box size is 4" x 4" x 11.5".
Natural Features
If you enjoy the look of knots, cracks, or other natural wood features, let us know and we can make sure your box includes these. Natural features come at no extra cost, but may increase turnaround time as we have to find the right piece of lumber.
Paid Customizations
These customizations require an additional fee, often specific to your box
Multiple Woods/Stains
$25+
If you would like your box to use more than one stain, or more than one wood, let us know and we can go over pricing for this option. Simple two-wood or two-stain customization starts at $25.
Exotics
$20+
If you are interested in wood options that are not listed on our "About Our Displays" page, please inquire about what exotics we have available.
Engraving
$10+
We can engrave the top (outside or inside), front, or tray of your box. Words and phrases start at $10, logos or specific images are $30.
Gold Leaf Engraving *CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE*
$30+
Gold leaf engraving is only possible on natural woods (no stains), and dependent on the design engraved. If you are interested in gold leaf engraving, contact us and we'll go over your options with you.

As you may know, Obscureye Designs operates out of Asheville, NC. While our team, our pets, and our workshop are safe, our community was, and continues to be, devastated by this storm.
